The Toehold is located off of Fisher Road.

 

Availability:

The house accommodates 8-9 people, and is normally available for a minimum rental of seven days, from mid-April through mid-October (Oyster Festival in Wellfleet).

*Rentals that cover the end of one month and beginning of another will be charged pro rata - e.g., X nights @ Aug rate, plus 7-X nights @ Sept rate.

    plus TV area, which can sleep an additional person

    • Ceiling and window fans to minimize use of AC

    • Grocery store baskets and re-usable food storage containers and picnic-ware to minimize use of disposables

    • Solar-heated water

    • Sappo Hill soap and other eco-friendly cleaning products

  • Other green measures

    • Absolutely no use of Round-up!

    • No watering of grass

    • Drip-irrigation of plants (plantings are intended to improve and moisturize the soil, and help filter water before it reaches the aquifer)

  • Use of linens and towels (linens need to be washed before check-out)

Reservation Policy:

  • Check-in time is Saturday 4pm, and check-out time is Saturday 11am.

  • 50% payment and signed lease are required to reserve, with the balance and security deposit due 90 days prior to arrival.

  • Rental rate includes cleaning fee, but does not include 14.45% lodging tax or $1,000 refundable security deposit.


Cancellation Policy:

If TENANT cancels reservation, all funds received will be refunded ONLY if premises are re-rented by LANDLORD for the reservation period. LANDLORD will make every effort to find a replacement tenant. If LANDLORD is successful in securing a replacement for the entire term of the lease, at the same rate and terms, the TENANT will receive a refund of the rental payment(s) paid to date, less 15% of the total rental amount due for this lease, and a refund of the deposit. If re-rented for a lesser amount, the difference between this rental and the lesser rental amount shall not be refunded. There is no guarantee that a replacement tenant will be secured and there is no guarantee that the TENANT will receive a refund if a replacement tenant is not secured.
